The grounds extend around 3 sides of the house, with neighbouring houses on each side.  To accommodate the moving sun there are seating areas to the left of the house, the back of the house and the balcony, with shaded patio beneath.  The climate provides for good growing conditions and the vegetable patch and fruit trees have been very productive.
